  • DO YOU HAVE AN OBSERVATION WINDOW OR CAMERAS IN THE CLASSROOM?
Perfect Pointe Productions offers both viewing options. Studio 1 has a large observation window that is easily viewed from the hallway. Studio 2 has a window on the door where you can see into the classroom. Both studios have a camera that streams onto TVs in the lobby where you are welcome to sit, enjoy a coffee on us and watch her dancer learn!
  • DO YOU HAVE A RECITAL?
Yes! Our Recital is each year towards the end of May. We also host a mid-year recital known as our Holiday Showcase.
  • WHEN IS YOUR RECITAL?
Typically our recital falls the weekend before school lets out for summer... roughly the 3rd weekend in May. Our Holiday Showcase is either the 2nd or 3rd weekend in December
  • WHAT DANCEWEAR AND SHOES DO I NEED FOR CLASS?
All classes differ due to age groups and different dance types. Information regarding the dress code can be found in the handbooks. Any kind of dance wear is acceptable as long as it is “dance wear” and not play clothing or street clothes. There are many different choices available, including leotards, tights, leggings, dance shorts, tutus, jazz pants, etc. Hip Hop students may wear sweat pants or lose comfortable clothing. Trial dancers do not need any specific dancewear or shoes for their trial class. Just wear athletic clothing and a pair of sneakers for your 1st day and we will be sure you know exactly what to purchase after your trial class.
  • DOES YOUR SCHEDULE FOLLOW THE LOCAL SCHOOL SYSTEM WITH REGARD TO HOLIDAYS AND BREAKS? AND WHAT ABOUT WEATHER CLOSINGS?
We provide a schedule of our closings but they might not match the school closings exactly. We do not close on many of the one-day holidays or teacher workdays that schools take off. Also, we do not always follow the school system for Hurricane Closures. While schools close early to prepare as shelters, we will continue to hold class as long as long as the weather permits. We will post our closings for weather on our BAND App.
  • WHAT IF MY CHILD DECIDES SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DANCE OR WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO CONTINUE CLASSES FOR OTHER REASONS?
Tuition is due on a monthly basis and your obligation is on a monthly basis also. There is no contract for the dance season. We ask for a two-week notice and that is all you are responsible for as far as payment. Costume deposit fees as well as registration fees are non-refundable.
  • CAN WE MAKE UP CLASSES IF WE HAVE TO MISS DUE TO ILLNESS OR FAMILY OBLIGATIONS?
Regular attendance in class is very important and beneficial to your dancer's progress not only technically, but it also impacts their confidence in class. If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent, please schedule your absence in your Jackrabbit Parent Portal. If your child is sick or there is a last minute emergency, we ask that you inform our staff as soon as you can. Make Up Classes: If you schedule your absence in Jackrabbit, you will have the option of choosing a make up class. Make up classes can be done in any style of class as long as your dancer falls within the age range of the class. Make up classes are not allowed in classes that are at full capacity. There are no make up classes allowed in the month of May due to preparation for recital performances. NEW: If your absence is not communicated to staff via email, text or scheduled in Jackrabbit, you will not be granted a make up class for a "no call, no show" class. There are no refunds or credit given if you miss class and are unable to accommodate a make up lesson. Cancelled Classes On the rare occasion that class is cancelled by PERFECT POINTE PRODUCTIONS, a make up class will be offered. If you are unable to attend a makeup class, a credit will be applied to your account for the cancelled class.
